Temario

The Postgraduate Diploma is 120 credits and the MA award is 180 credits.

For both awards, all students will study 60 credits from the following module options:

Critical Thinking and Analysis (30 credits)
Relationship Based Practice: Advanced Intervention Skills (30 credits)
Professional Supervision for Public and Community Services (30 credits)
Leadership for Public and Community Services (15 credits)
Service Development and Quality Improvement (15 credits)
As well as the following pathway specific modules:

Safeguarding Children: Learning from Interprofessional Practice (30 credits)
Looked After Children: Policy and Practice (30 credits)
Students who exit the programme at this point will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma Advanced Professional Practice in Social Work (Children and Families).

MA students only will study the following module:

Developing new research capability (60 credits)
Students who exit the programme at this point will be awarded an MA Advanced Professional Practice in Social Work (Children and Families).
