Creative Writing course

This short course will hopefully familiarise students with the very basics of writing fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction in english. In a much larger sense, the course should enable students to strengthen their ability to use written language for expression and communication purposes. The course will be conducted in ten workshops, where students will produce their own weekly writing exercises as the main object and basis for class discussion. However, we will also discuss well known published authors in our way to understanding how literature, in a very broad sense, works.

   • III. Creative Non Fiction and Essay
   • IV. Drama and Hybrid Texts
   • Summary of revised and edited prior assignments
2. Module 2 - Structure and Genre
   • V. Short Stories and Micro-stories (1)
   • VI. Short Stories and Micro-stories (2)
   • VII. Novel and Novella
   • VIII. Time and Plot, the knot.
   • Summary of revised and edited prior assignments
3. Module 3 Final – Infrastructure
   • IX. Character, Point of View and Place
   • X. Tone, Rhythm and Voice
   • Summary of revised and edited prior assignments and final portfolio.
