Master In Management

The Master in Management at IE Business School is designed for those embarking on their professional careers, and will help you gain the confidence you need to face the complex, competitive, and often uncertain environment of today’s business world. You will learn how to operate within specific markets and get results; how to cultivate the networks that allow you to overcome the obstacles current to our time, and those of the future.

The program is composed of three sections:

Business Fundamentals:

Lasting for one period, approximately 3 months, the Business Fundamentals module teaches you the basic management tools and skills upon which business rests. Business Fundamentals build a solid foundation for the challenges you will face during the rest of the program, as well as consolidate the skills of students from different backgrounds.

Speciality Courses, depending of the Master chosen:

During periods two and three, you will have the opportunity specialize your studies in one of five areas:

Marketing Management

Financial Management

Telecom and Digital Business

Biotechnology Management

International Management

These terms focus your studies in such a way as to make you an effective, confident manager, and prepare you for a career in a specific sector. This specialist knowledge will make you a much sought after asset to the business world at large.

The Beyond Borders Experience

Running during the fourth and final period of the Master in Management, the Beyond Borders Experience offers a host of opportunities to hone your skills and put what you have learned into practice. You will be able to participate in exchange programs, or gather some work experience on an internship program. You will also participate in IE’s Venture Lab, in which you, as part of a team, will develop a business plan for your own project under the supervision of IE’s Entrepreneurship Department. IE Business School prides itself on its entrepreneurial spirit, and this is reflected in the Master in Management.
