The Sports Management MBA at EU Business School is an interdisciplinary program designed to teach management skills such as sports marketing and management, sports advertising, media relations and sports sponsorship programs. The industry offers diverse and dynamic opportunities ranging from involvement in professional sports to managing events and private, public and corporate health and fitness clubs. Increasing awareness of fitness and wellness and the popularity of professional sports results in marketing and media opportunities and sponsorships. Sporting events, whether they are small local competitions or large events with worldwide exposure, require professional managers to ensure maximum benefit for all stakeholders.

The curriculum is designed to prepare students for a wide range of managerial positions in sport-related fields.
1 certified copy of bachelor's degree and transcripts
Proof of English level: TOEFL score 89 (internet-based), 233 (computer-based); IELTS 6.5; CAE C1 with a minimum score of 176; English native or equivalent.
Candidates who wish to apply for the state-recognized MBA degree from London Metropolitan University must have two years of professional work experience in addition to the requirements listed above. Students with less than two years of work experience may apply for the state-recognized MSc in International Business Management also from London Metropolitan University.
A university MBA degree awarded by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), (título propio), a state-recognized university in Spain.
An MBA degree from EU Business School Switzerland which is internationally accredited by ACBSP, IACBE, IQA and certified by eduQua.
To help students with the payment of their studies, several flexible payment plans are available. If further information is required, candidates should contact EU's Admission department.
Scholarships are not available.

John Wetherell
Economics and Strategic Management Lecturer
John Wetherell has lectured in economics and strategic management at EU since 2003. He initially studied his BSc in Economics at the London School of Economics, during which he also spent time abroad, at the University of Paris, the Sorbonne. He later completed his master’s in international business at the University of Barcelona. Between 1995 and 2000, Wetherell had his own educational business before later collaborating with AP Consultancy. Wetherell has extensive experience in lecturing, and currently teaches at four Barcelona-based business schools.
