This workshop gives participants a full insight into creating effective schedules using Microsoft® Project 2013, allowing you to estimate, coordinate, budget, staff, and control projects and support other users. This workshop is kept up to date with the framework of knowledge outlined by the Project Management Institute’s PMBOK® Guide and the Practice Standard for Scheduling.

Prerequisites

This course contains multiple hands-on exercises and labs where you will need to bring a laptop with Microsoft® Project Standard 2013, Project Professional 2013, or Project Pro for Office 365 desktop with the latest service packs.

Certification Qualifications

IIL Certification: Candidates for IIL's Project Orange Belt certification must attend the program and achieve a passing score (70% or higher) on a 30-question, multiple-choice exam. Participants who conclude the program will be enrolled to complete the exam online.

Microsoft Certification: The completion of both Project White Belt and Orange Belt 2013 makes you a candidate for the Microsoft Specialist certification: Managing Projects with Microsoft Project 2013. Candidates must enroll in an authorized center and achieve a passing score (70% or higher) on Exam 74-343 (54-question, multiple-choice).

IIL courses in Microsoft Project also qualify for the required education hours for the Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® and the PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® certifications. Contact your sales representative for more information.
