Reception Academy was founded in 2008 with the main objective of providing Hotels with exceptionally skilled staff in all departments. During these times in the Hospitality Industry it became apparent that the majority of applications coming through for Receptionist positions were rejected due to lack of experience. Whilst some applicants seemed to have the passion and desire to work in Hotels, due to their lack of knowledge and skills, they would not be given a chance to prove this in interviews.

Displeased about the high student fees that are going up more and more each day and wanting to give those passionate individuals an opportunity to start a new career, The Hotel Receptionist and Opera Training Course was created. This course along with our other Hospitality related courses take place at our training center which is located in the heart of London.

Reception Academy offers a number of Hospitality courses catering for every level of skill and experience: from introductory courses covering the basics of Hotel Receptionist to learning and development right up to managerial courses.

Skills to help get a job in Hotels

During our 4 week Hotel Receptionist and Opera V5 course we also offer 2 Days Recruitment Workshop including creating Industry-Specific CVs, Hospitality Interview Skills & Preparation, Grooming Standard Polices, Expertise of the Market, which give you the knowledge and confidence to find employment in Hotels of your choice. Created in connection with Hotels and based on their own requirements, our courses are specifically designed for individuals who only have always dreamt about working in major Hotel brands in UK.

Historia

Reception Academy was founded in 2008 as a result of severe shortage of skilled and fully trained hotel receptionists in London. The founding team worked in hotels themselves at that time and decided to create a concept that would help young people to get the skills at an affordable price. The finished concept was presented to big hotel chains and it soon became clear that graduates from Reception Academy would have a great knowledge which is relevant to hotels, giving graduates from Reception Academy a clear advantage over other applicants . The product has been improved ever since and Reception Academy is currently working on further training courses such as Reception Supervisor, Reservations Agent, Hotel Accountant etc. Same concept, same great training, same job opportunity and affordable price. Hotels today greatly benefit from Reception Academy students as they simply log on to our website and select the students they like. Simple!
