The Centro de Lenguas Modernas, besides its prestigious "Intensive Spanish Language and Culture Courses for Foreigners" and "Hispanic Studies Courses" also has seven years experience in offering "Modern Language Courses" for university students and professionals from our city. The University of Granada wishes to contribute decisively to the learning and practice of the most used foreign languages through quality teaching, guaranteed by the highly specialised teaching staff and the most up-to-date learning and teaching facilities.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS, REGISTRATION FEE AND LEVEL TEST

UNIVERSITY MEMBERSHIP IS NOT A REQUIREMENT.

Any student wishing to enrol on a modern language course at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas must fulfil the following requirements:

Completed 4th year E.S.O. (Spanish Obligatory Secondary Education Certificate) or equivalent secondary education qualifications are required for course enrollment (with the exception of young persons' courses).

Enrollment must take place within the stipulated dates via the payment of a first installment of course fees. Fees may either be paid directly by credit card at the CLM office, by telephone by providing the required credit details, or by bank transfer to the following account: 2031/0000/01/0101875182, Caja Granada. Please ensure the correct identification of any bank transfer by clearly indicating both the student's name and the course enrollment reference number in the payment. CLM will only recognize the amount received in its account. All bank charges to be paid by the student.

Level tests are compulsory for all students with the exception of absolute beginners. The four skills (listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing) are tested together with a grammar test and the result determines the level which students may enrol for. Students will be informed of the date and time of the level test once they have paid the registration fee and handed in the relevant documents.

REIMBURSEMENT

In the event of a course or level being cancelled by the centre's administration the first payment will be returned. In the event of cancellation upon the student's request the amount may be transferred to cover the cost of any other course held during the academic year.

Course fees will also be refunded upon written request and for legitimate reasons during the first week of the course.
