What I would highlight: Sue is a brilliant instructor, very communicative and clear. The course opened my mind even if I want to be a fashion buyer or develop in different areas of the fashion industry. It flew by!

What I would highlight: In terms of depth in buying, this course was exactly what I needed. It have me the tools to understand the responsibilities and roles of the buyer/merchandiser within the supply chain in the fashion industry.

What I would highlight: This course showed me an introductory insight into the buying and merchandising sector, contributions to retailers, sector trends and markets. Enjoyed listening the lecture of Sue Dean! 100% recommended.

Topics covered

Through a series of seminars and workshops you will gain an understanding of the concept of fashion as a vehicle of cultural communication.

We will look at the professional organisation of fashion promotion both past and present; and the language and techniques used within it.
You will gain the knowledge and skills required to produce a promotional pack to launch a new collection.

Entry requirements

This course is only suitable for those with good writing skills and a good grasp of the English language.
