The M.Sc. CAME focuses on computer simulations to create digital replicas of technical objects and systems to provide simulation solutions for complex design tasks in mechanical engineering. The program combines sound knowledge in manufacturing, design, automation, production as well as simulations and thus enables you to develop computer-aided designs and manage advanced simulation projects. Gain in-depth process and technology expertise and develop a strong profile as a computational engineer to meet the challenges of today’s changing manufacturing and production.

As an M.Sc. CAME student, you will learn to

- design, apply and optimize cutting-edge simulation technology for high-tech products
- engineer computer simulation software and simulation programs to enhance mechanical design and production
- read and understand complex technical drawings
- develop and deploy computer-aided systems for industrial production processes

Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering or a related discipline (e.g. automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, structural, industrial, or production engineering). Our Master’s programs require a minimum of 12 months relevant work experience by the time of enrollment. At the time of application, you must provide proof of at least 6 months work experience.These minimum scores for the GRE must be achieved:
Verbal Reasoning: 145 points
Quantitative Reasoning: 160 points
Analytical Writing: 3 points

Upon successful completion of the M.Sc. CAME, you
have advanced knowledge of methods, processes and technologies in the field of computer-aided design and computer-aided production
- master the solving and managing of complex modeling and simulation projects
- know how to implement industry-specific software systems for an industrial business environment
- solve complex tasks in research and development or industrial production by using digital twins
