Course Content

The course comprises of a short introductory module on the English legal system followed by eight full modules covering seven foundation subjects and an in-depth study through legal research of an eighth area of law.

In addition to the knowledge and understanding of the core areas of law required for legal practice in England and Wales, the course develops the key intellectual and personal skills required by lawyers. In all modules there is a focus on combining knowledge and understanding of core areas of law with the ability to analyse, evaluate and form critical judgements about the law. Study is centred on practical activities that will enable you to learn by doing.
