El Máster en Economía del Turismo, del Transporte y del Medio Ambiente nace con una clara vocación de fomentar la proyección internacional de las líneas de trabajo, tanto en docencia como en investigación, relacionadas con el análisis del turismo, el transporte y el medio ambiente. Es por ello que este título se presenta como un master de ámbito internacional que cuenta con el apoyo de profesorado externo de prestigio, e imparte su docencia en el idioma inglés. La calidad del programa esta avalada por un conjunto de investigadores especializados en diversas áreas, entre las que cabe citar: economía del turismo, economía del transporte, economía del medio ambiente, economía espacial, estadística aplicada, urbanismo y ordenación territorial.

A tener en cuenta
Este título formará profesionales e investigadores para que adquieran capacidades para desarrollar investigación aplicada de calidad que genere valor para la sociedad y que permita aportar elementos positivos en el debate académico y profesional sobre los principales problemas que afectan al turismo, el transporte y el medio ambiente, ofreciendo una mejor aproximación a sus soluciones. Por otra parte, pretendemos formar al alumno en el manejo de las técnicas de investigación aplicada necesarias de manera que se le habilite para continuar su ciclo formativo en un programa de doctorado o para insertarse de forma competitiva en el mercado laboral.

Economics of the global environment (6 ECTS)
Sustainable development: principles of ecological economics and environmental economics, integrated planning and management of renewable
and non-renewable natural resources, indicators of multidimensional sustainability, integrated evaluation models and methods for the evaluation of
environmental goods and services, direct regulation and economic instruments of environmental policy and international environmental agreements,
innovation, eco-efficiency and environmental planning of the firm.
Transportation economics (6 ECTS)
Principles of transport economics, transportation supply and demand, transportation production and cost, externalities, transport policy: pricing and
infrastructure investment, transportation markets structure, economic regulation.
Cost-benefit analysis (6 ECTS)
Economic evaluation of social benefits, opportunity costs, market and shadow prices, economic evaluation of non-marketed goods, discounting and
decision criteria, uncertainty and risk analysis, applications to tourism, transport and the environment.
Service quality analysis (6 ECTS)
The EFQM Excellence Model: self-assessment and prioritization of improvement plants, customer satisfaction surveys: methods of measuring guest

Consumer behaviour and microeconomics of discrete choices, random utility theory and discrete choice models, aggregate forecasting using

Quantitative methods (6 ECTS)
Applied quantitative methods , data analysis (parametric and non-parametric tests), model building (simple and multiple regression, logistic and multilevel modelling), time-dependent phenomena and forecasting, classical and Bayesian estimation, case studies of applied mathematical programming
in tourism, location models for tourism and transport data.
Territorial planning for tourism and transportation (6 ECTS)
