My name is Oleh Savchenko, and I started my ATPL Integrated course at QualityFly in the summer of 2023. From the very first day, I knew I had made the right choice. The team supported me with everything — even matters outside of training — which meant a lot as an international student. Everyone in the office is friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. I was recommended this school by active airline pilots, and now I fully understand why.
The theoretical phase was intensive, well-structured, and clearly organized. Every instructor gave their best, always staying longer to explain anything we didn’t fully understand. The instructors came from both airline and engineering backgrounds, which made the training balanced and engaging. Exam scheduling was logical and efficient, and there was always a great, friendly atmosphere.
The flight training completely exceeded my expectations. The aircraft are modern, equipped with Garmin systems, and maintained to the highest standards. During the first phase, the school focuses on safety and building a solid foundation — preparing you for your first solo flight. Instructors are patient, supportive, and make learning simple and enjoyable.
The second and third phases involve navigation flights — that’s when you really start to enjoy flying! The variety of airports around Spain is amazing (I highly recommend Granada).
The fourth phase (IFR) was one of my favorites — QualityFly provides an excellent IFR preparation document, and the school has two simulators and a wide range of airports to train in different conditions.
Multi-engine training on the Tecnam P2006 was top-notch, and flying all around Spain made it even more exciting. One of my best flights was from Sevilla – Cuatro Vientos – Santander – Cuatro Vientos, which truly felt like real airline preparation.
Night flights also have a special atmosphere — the school takes care of hotels and meals, making the whole experience comfortable.
The UPRT course was incredible: professional instructors, real maneuvers, and genuine G-forces — not just simulations!
Of course, weather and technical issues can happen, but the school always manages scheduling carefully, and their maintenance team at Cuatro Vientos fixes everything quickly. Documentation is always up to date, and the airport’s location in Madrid is very convenient — even without a car.
Finally, the APS MCC course was the perfect conclusion to my training. You can choose between Airbus A320 or Boeing 737; I trained on the B737, and it was an unforgettable experience. Active airline pilots led the course and told us that, by the number of hours on the full motion simulator, it’s almost like a real type rating — and it truly felt that way.
The office and OPS staff are always ready to help, and the management team is directly involved in the training process — I had several meetings with them, which was motivating and appreciated.
The entire QualityFly team and all instructors are extremely professional, kind, and genuinely human — something that makes this school truly stand out.
Each flight brought me closer to becoming a confident and professional pilot. Overall, I can confidently say that QualityFly is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to become a professional pilot in Madrid. The school keeps improving, the instructors are passionate, and the whole experience is unforgettable.

I completed my training at Qualityfly three months ago, and I highly recommend this ATO after spending 20 months with them. They have an excellent fleet of modern aircraft, which has expanded in recent months, and instructors who are genuinely committed to their students’ success. Lastly, there is a great atmosphere among instructors, staff, and students.

I started studying/flying at Quality Fly in March 2023 and just finished my course in February 2025. Some months after my start date, the structure had greatly changed to ensure that students finish within 18 months.
During my time at Quality Fly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience personally. The people in both the office and operations always treated me with the utmost respect, and I hope they felt that from me as well. Unlike my previous educational experiences in the United States, the majority of instructors at QF genuinely cared about my growth and progress even during the more difficult moments in the course. With that said, for both the good and the bad, because of the nature of the industry, instructors move on so there is plenty of turnover.
For the theory aspect, it is intense with 13 official exams. It is stressful but very manageable.
For the practical aspect, very few cancellations were because of mechanical issues. Most were weather-related cancellations. It was so much fun going to different airports and sharing frequencies with the major airlines flying in those areas.
The final piece is the MCC. Mine was done in the A320. It is a tiring end to the course but an incredible preparation for not only the Type Rating but also to tie together so much studying and learning that takes place during the course.
My overall experience was unforgettable. I was able to make lifelong friends the world over, share cultures, and experience living in Madrid. Given the same people and same situation, I would do it again without a doubt.

I just finished the ATLP integrated course with QualityFly and I am very happy with the course. I have seen all the improvements that they are making and all the growth they are having. The students in the school has duplicated in the time I have been studiying the course. The number of planes have been duplicated as well and with better aircrafts and they keep growing. The best part of this school is the closeness of the instructors and all the personal working at it.

Hello everyone
I started my first ATPL class in the first month of 2022. I studied at this school for the last years it’s been the best exam experience because the thing that separates you from achieving your dream is choosing the right school.
In the part of theory it was the best with flexibility specially during covid because we had both online and theorotical classes.
Instructors are good you may even have some of them as your brothers which i had the chance to have some of them as brothers for me.
In the part of flying it was also nice and they even added another multi and some single new aircrafts.
And also i would like to thank the crew of qfy for the professinalism when we were impatient and unprofessional from our side.
In the end it was really a pleasure.

A great place to study for your ATPL.
Pros:
- Friendly atmosphere
- ATP Integrated program is designed to get your through the program as pain-free as possible, in a reasonable time (Lots of schools overpromiseon completion time). The structure of the training is excellent.
-100% of the training is in English and there is a multicultural environment which is really really nice.
- Ground instructors are highly qualified and passionate about teaching.
- Flight instructors are mostly caring and patient
- Regular flight programming
-The admin office is very quick and responsive to your questions.
-The admissions process is very transparent - they were very clear to me about what is and isn't included in their program.
- While people turn their nose up at Tecnam aircraft, QF aircraft are pretty much brand new, with glass cockpits which are perfect for airline training, and safety is really prioritised at this academy.
Cons:
- Fleet is not as "fun" as at some other academies.
- Lot of changes in the Ops department. They are trying to change things for the better but there have been too many changes at quite a short notice which has caused confusion amongst the student's sometimes. Despite that, flights are regularly scheduled and it's becoming more efficient.
- Facilities not as aesthetically pleasing as other academies, but they are investing in updating as their HQ is currently under renovation works.
A good academy which I think will get better in the future.
