Project management in construction works

The training course, offered by the master’s Program, aims to introduce to the management of investments in the real estate sectors (real estate evaluation and valorization unit), construction, and infrastructure. Investment management begins with a correct evaluation. For this reason, an introduction to the "value averaging" philosophy will be presented to the students, as well as an introduction to the most important accounting concepts. So, the students will have the fundamental basics for evaluating an investment at a "micro" level. Attention will also be paid to the evaluation of investments at a "macro" level. For this reason, students will be shown the basic parameters that govern the performance of the markets. The "secular" cycles of expansion and contraction of the economy, as well as their sub-cycles, affect all sectors of the markets, but above all, the real estate and construction sectors have always been strongly influenced by them. After evaluating the investments, the stages of their development will be presented. To achieve this, the basics of project management and management control will be illustrated and explained, as well as deepening aspects of a legal nature, both nationally and internationally. The Master’s Program trains prepared and qualified figures to evaluate real estate investments and to efficiently and effectively manage Master Plans, projects and construction sites of any complexity, in compliance with the regulations and time, cost and quality requirements. During the lessons, students will be prepared to take the exams and obtain the following certifications: IPMA (International Project Management Association) Level D, which does not provide experiential prerequisites, or higher levels if the participants meet the required requirements; CAPM and PMP of the PMI (Project Management Institute); IGC of NEBOSH.
