Los estudios en Administración y Dirección de Empresas llevan impartiéndose en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid desde el año 1971. Por tanto, el cuerpo de conocimientos específicos está histórica y académicamente consolidado y apoyado en una amplia y creciente actividad investigadora, generando teorías y modelos transferibles al ámbito de la gestión de las organizaciones.

El título capacita a los estudiantes para ocupar puestos de trabajo necesarios en una comunidad autónoma como la de Madrid, que es la que tiene en el conjunto de España la mayor cuota de participación en empresas privadas y públicas españolas e internacionales, así como en organismos de la administración pública.

La Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales, ubicada en el Campus de Somosaguas, consta de 6 edificios, de los cuales uno es un Aulario de reciente construcción.

Para desarrollar su labor docente, la Facultad cuenta con 54 aulas, 4 salones de actos,10 aulas de informática, 2 salas de lectura para la biblioteca, red WiFi, cafetería-comedor, etc.
