The aim of the specialization course Innovation strategies, models, and methodologies in Health is to explore the perpetual innovation in the evolution of healthcare, in which strategic methodologies are used to pave the way for a transformative change. This course offers an opportunity to navigate the intersection of innovation and high-value healthcare, unravelling a spectrum of innovation tools, from Lean to Agile, and delving into Scrum and diverse frameworks.
The student will be able to sharpen project management skills tailored for healthcare innovation and to master the craft of formulating strategies within complex healthcare systems. Beyond lectures, he or she will be able to cultivate an innovation culture, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among students through hands-on workshops. This course is to be considered as a toolkit, empowering individuals to play a vital role in impactful healthcare innovation initiatives, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the healthcare landscape.

To understand the innovation process, to learn different innovation strategies, models and methodologies to be able to identify and adress healthcare challenges, and develop and implement solutions that are effective, efficient and sustainable, with a high value care for patients, providers and the whole healh system.
Specific objectives:
"1. Identify present and future global health challenges and the main solutions to adress them.
2. Define types of innovation and the methodologies for promoting creativity and innovation.
3. Define the different methodologies used for innovation projects management and coordination.
4. Apply innovation methodologies to heatlhcare challenge and human-centered design porcesses.
5. Apply creative thinking to find innovative solutions to healthcare challenges.
6. Plan strategies to manage and lead innovation.
7. Evaluate healthcare organizations improvements points and transformation opportunities.
8. Investigate how to implemnt a high-value healthcare system."
