Whilst Social Intelligence is referred to in the 1920s, it’s not really until 1983 that the Israeli psychologist Dr Reuvon Bar-On refers to the Emotional Quotient and then, in the 1990s, we hear from Mayer & Salovey which informs Daniel Goleman’s book, “Emotional Intelligence: Why it can matter more than IQ”.
Many current and aspiring leaders know their Personality type (e.g. from Myers Briggs) as well as their IQ.
Importantly, in the modern workplace, Emotional Intelligence (EI) is becoming more important.
Emotional Intelligence applies to everyone across the enterprise: leaders, managers, teams and individuals.

Our workshops are based around confidentiality: senior people need a safe 'sandboxed' environment to explore their thinking and so we must create the right space for this to happen.
Based on this, our program is only open to such people as:
- CEOs / Managing Directors interested in growing their strategic capability.
- Members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) needing to bolster their strategic strengths.
- Members of the Senior Management Team identified for progression into the SLT.

Completion of our individual and 360-degree Emotional Capability Report (an online assessment that is completed within 8-12 minutes).
An output of this short course is your individual and 360-degree Emotional Intelligence Assessment plus a 1:1 feedback session with one of our leadership experts. The academically-recognised report not only gives guidance on your leadership development pathway but can be attached to your CV / HR Record.
Facilitated by former CEOs and leadership experts, our multi-lingual programs are held in high-quality hotels where you will receive a luxury delegate pack including your own emotional intelligence assessment. Our sessions are limited to a maximum of 16 people at a time but our model has been designed for us to deliver 1:1 in certain circumstances.
