Tourism is one of the main engines of the world economy, generating employment and welfare for the whole of our society. The companies are in need of well trained professionals to respond the challenges that the sector must face: from digitalization to sustainability and also innovation, responsible and ethical development.
For this reason, it is vital to maintain a high level of quality in the tourism sector, with the support of a university education to provide specialized knowledge - a basis for innovation and growth-, and skilled people to contribute to maintain and improve the levels of competitiveness in the sector.
The Degree in Tourism CETT-UB is a university education approved and fully adapted to the requirements of the new European Higher Education Area (EHEA). From CETT-UB we have been working from the very beginning to achieve the highest degree of adaptability and ease of mobility of students. Given the multidisciplinary nature and numerous opportunities for professional development offered, the Bachelor Degree provides a curriculum that allows different levels of expertise in the field of tourism.

The main objective of the Tourism Degree is to train professionals with the managerial skills needed to hold positions of responsibility in tourism and hospitality companies and institutions, and to innovate in the face of the challenges posed by globalization, sustainability and technological evolution. The Degree also strengthens the personal skills necessary for leading teams and projects in a complex, changing environment.
The degree is addressed to students who are interested in a changing and dynamic sector that allows a wide range of specializations and who are looking to have a multidisciplinary training in: business management, leadership, economics, law, humanities and languages.

Bachelor's Degree in Tourism with one of the following specializations:
- Hospitality Management
- Tourism Management
- Digital Tourism Business Management
The degree offers 3 specializations that students choose when they finish the 2nd year: Hospitality Management, Tourism Management or Digital Tourism Business Management.
CETT has its own pedagogic methodology focused on personalized mentoring, we offer a permanent contact with the reality of tourism sector and companies promoting internship programs. Moreover, our teaching staff are experts and still working in the tourism sector to offer an updated vision of its reality. Also, we have more than 50 agreements with universities in 25 countries on four continents which will enable you to make the most of your academic mobility.
In addition, CETT provides the following joint Degrees to students who study three academic years at CETT and a further academic year at a University/School of their choice: Grenoble École de Management (France), Michigan State University (United States of America) or JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

The learning process in the Bachelor Degree is characterized by a customized level of service and attention towards the students. CETT's training model combines different training methods, such as:
- Conceptual presentations by teachers and professionals of the sector, and subsequent group reflection.
- Discussions with reference managers.
- Simulations and conduction of case studies.
- Teamwork.
- Role-play development.
- Report composing and written work.
- Individual or group tutorial boosters.
- Participation in study groups, research and development of expertise in tourism, where students develop their level of expertise, while working on interpersonal skills.
- Outings related to the knowledge of the industry: company visits, cultural trips and destinations.

Students are assessed throughout the curriculum through continuous assessment. However, the option of the final assessment is also provided for students with difficulties to attend all classes regularly.
