I’m here during a couple of weeks and i’m really appreciating the EU University. Despite of heard some comments about the Administration Department, in my opinion they are very good. They already helped me with my TIE and in my opinion it demonstrates a big support.

I’m at the EU Business School just for few weeks and I’m really impressed with the environment. The professors have in disponibility a lot of tools to improve the interaction with the students, inlcuding the intranet of the University. Despite of that, I’m not very happy with the Administration Office.

The EU online experience has been fabulous. I’ve been really open about my feelings about how responsive the staff has been. How caring and considerate they are around our experiences. The technology is amazing – how it can enable me to tap into a seminar, see the recording and my classmates’ comments if I can’t attend it live.

I liked the way that the university allowed my application, it was a very simple process and I’m really appreciating the university. I think that the best thing here is that the professors have a lot of experience that they achieve through their own businesses, what give us more content.

I’m just a few weeks here, but I could felt the environment of the university. I liked the way how they manage your timetable to maintain you organized with your studies and obligations. And in addition, the professors are great !!

The administration is not so good. I tell them my problems and they don’t really care about it. In the next day when I ask them about the subject, they even remember about it. Despite of that the professors are very qualified and I really like them. To get in the university I had to present my note on IELTS( 7,5 ) and make an interview.

The university has different campuses in Geneva, Munich, Montreux and Barcelona. I’m gonna talk about only bcn’s one as I haven’t been studied at others. Here you meet students from all over the world, but the vast majority is from Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, so 60% of university are Russian speakers. Nice teachers with great working experience in international companies. However, I would say there is a gap between the cost of the studying and the level of the organization of the university itself in terms of administrative, technical issues, such as wifi, disorganization with building timetables, recovering of cancelled classes, etc.

Although I needed to discipline myself not to abuse of Barcelona’s amazing nightlife, I was incredibly happy of my University years at EU. I now work for a multinational company in marketing and still keep contact with other alumni for business and pleasure.

What I like is the place where university is located. It’s a nice neighborhood. I also like real work experience of our professors, they worked for years in the business field, and they have a lot to share with us. Of course professors are different here. Some of them interactive, some prefer just to give theory material, but anyway all of this is good experience and valuable knowledge. I don’t like that MBA has an evening classes, till 7. I understand that BBA has morning classes, but at least they could schedule it from 5-6. All in all I am happy with my choice and with university.

EU school really cares about your presence in class, they have max 3 times absence, so they actually making you to come to classes. I really love the programs they are offering. I am doing my sport management and it’s not common to find this course in every university. Of course as most of the students, I like the diversity of people. It opens your mind and broaden your horizons. The only not positive things for me, is that you don’t feel yourself as in university here. We don’t have any cafeteria or big library and atmosphere itself is not united.

To begin with, I think that our teaching staff is not that qualified. Some of professors have problems with English language and with approaches to teaching. Some of them are not well prepared to the classes and using not their own materials. Administration department is also working bad, I had some problems with them, but this is personal. I

Classes and education in this school is differ from education in my own country, in Mexico. I’m here only for 1-2 weeks, till now I am a bit frustrated with studying. Classes are on a low level. I am doing my BBA in finance here and professors are giving very basic information in the sphere of finance, which I have already studied before. So actually I am not learning anything new, unfortunately.

The administration department is very lazy and irresponsible. I also hated seminars, which we had usually one Saturday of the month, when we were needed to be in class from 9 till 3. It was the most difficult days to woke up. From my point of view, it’s better to have this seminar during the working week. I was studying on MBA, international management and I really liked business simulator classes. It was a computer class, where we were running our own business and were needed to take our own decisions depending on the changes of the market and competitors. I also liked that we had a lot of presentations. It increases the public speaking skills.

The environment EU Business School has created is so international and multicultural. It allows everyone to meet with so many different people and exchange great experiences. The classes do cover a broad range of topics and my experience overall has been great.
A mejorar:
However, if I do have to be critical, I can say that management should be improved in regards to the different students that come. All students coming from work background, students that are working during studies or students from only academic background need more options available that can further help students develop skills and initiatives for students finding employment.

I have already finished MBA program and I can tell that information that career center is helping with internships is exaggerated. I like that most of our works were in teams. It’s teaching you to adapt to situations. Sometimes you are doing projects with really strong students, sometimes with weak. Exactly as in life. It teaches you to work with different types of people.
A mejorar:
University has agreements with couple of companies and that’s all, so mainly you need to search yourself. University also has no lunch area and the most ridiculous we even can’t eat and drink coffee inside premises. Only water allowed. The administration part is totally disorganized. They postpone thesis defense for 2 weeks, last minute! And what if some students already bought tickets to come to Barca for defense?

I definitely recommend EU Business School! Made a lot of friends from all over the world and loved my stay in Barcelona. Recently graduated from a state-accredited dual Bachelor degree in Business Management awarded together with the University of Derby. I am pretty okey with the university. It was one of the cheapest out of all I was considering to enter. Of course EU is not very prestigious, but education is good as well as professors, I like our program and subjects. For the first term we were even a bit overloaded with amount of subjects.
